About the Blogger

Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Natalie and I’m from Minnesota. No, I don’t have an accent like the movie Fargo and yes, I do occasionally dabble with the phrases “don’t you know” and “uffdFullSizeRender (2)ah”.

I love to explore new lands, physically and intellectually. I’ve always had a knack for doing what people tell me I couldn’t and proving that nothing is truly impossible (except for slamming a revolving door, still working on it). I’m quite the walking contradiction when it comes to interests and hobbies.

I went to school in Wisconsin, majoring in accounting and minoring in creative writing. If I had a dime for every time an adviser told me this combination was impossible, I’d never have to worry about parking meters ever again.

I’ve had a variety of jobs that expand from babysitter to librarian to Programming Director at the on campus television FullSizeRenderstation. What can I say? I’ve always had a keen sense of curiosity about the world.

So much so that I decided to study abroad iIMG_1614n Ireland for a whole semester while attending college. I’d never been outside of the country and, to be honest, an excited, nervous wreck. Especially when I got off the plane in Limerick, gathered my one giant suitcase, and stood for the bus wondering, what the hell did I get myself into? But I had the best experience of my life and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Yes, even the incident where my Guinness consumption got a little out of hand (a story for another time).

I hope you continue to read and enjoy my blogs. And hopefully quench some of your curiosity in the process about this wonderfully complex world we call home.
